Meth can both increase sex drive and decrease men's ability to get and maintain an erection. As a result, some men using meth may choose receptive anal sex ("bottom"), or may choose to combine meth with erectile dysfunction drugs such as Viagra. Both meth and Viagra use are independently associated with unprotected anal sex.
Often, men will use crystal in combination with Viagra* or other similar medications to get or keep an erection. This can potentially raise your blood pressure to dangerously high levels which can take you steps closer to an overdose or give you a long-lasting hard-on that can cause permanent damage.1
*WARNING: In some cases, using poppers and Viagra simultaneously can lead to dangerously low blood pressure, stroke, heart attack or death.
