  • This list of "alternative things to do" is a REAL travesty. Frankly, it obliterates any chance this site has of making a real impact. If GMHC is just hosting this to make a point and be seen as trying - fine. If they really want to make a difference, they missed the mark by a long shot. "Cleveland Scene"??? "TimeOut.com"??? BS.

  • Instead of planning expensive "get away" trips (which only help you escape your problems for a very short period of time), focus on maybe seeking an afforadable, substance abuse Psychologist/Therapist, who, may in fact help the patient by prescribing drugs that can (hopefully) reverse the neuro-toxicity of methamphetamine (especially street/clandestine lab meth) & deal with the crippling depression following heavy crystal use. And maybe using cognitive behavior tactics to successfully attract men for the RIGHT reasons, not just a extremely risky fling. Just my 2 cents. :) Oh, this is coming from a ex-cocaine addict, so, I might an idea of such experiences. ;)
